What do you think? I thought it was kinda odd. There is very little substance here. Did she do a public press conference or just release this video.
WASHINGTON- Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus released this statement today in response to Hillary Clinton's campaign announcement;
'Americans need a president they can trust and voters do not trust Hillary Clinton- Over decades as a Washington insider, Clinton has left a trail of secrecy, scandal, and failed policies that can't be erased from voters' minds. The Clintons believe they can play by a different set of rules and think they're above transparency, accountability, and ethics. Our president must represent a higher standard, and that is not Hillary Clinton.
'Clinton's announcement comes in the shadows of looming investigations over deletion of State Department records and suspicious foreign donations. For weeks Clinton has stonewalled the American public on unanswered questions around these many scandals. As an official candidate. Clinton must come dean with the American people.
'Republicans have a strong and diverse set of candidates who will engage in a productive debate on how to move our country forward. Clinton’s coronation represents more of the same, and voters have made it clear they want a new direction."
“You’ve seen in polls and in discussions across the country a feeling that Hillary Clinton is just not trustworthy,” Romney said April 12, 2015. “This whole story about her having erased all of her emails even though they were subject to recall and review by Congress, I think that’s made people remember that with the Clintons, it’s always something.”
Here is the Republican National Committee's response to Clinton's announcement,
It is clear that "trust" and "emails" are the key words of the day. Here is Mitt Romney,

so instead she made it about the People, because she is the People's Champion
I don't think so. I think the Dems would be better off nominating ABH, anybody but Hillary. Between Bidenesque gaffes ("we were broke when we left the White House") and purging the private email server (what does she have to hide?) Hillary's campaign had more missteps before announcing than most campaigns make in total.and she'll lay the smack down on the Republican Candy Asses!
She also won last year's Money in the Bank match.I thought the Rock was the People's Champion. Does Hillary have to fight him for the title now? I'd put my money on her because she has the poisoned spike on her tail and Dwyane Johnson doesn't have one of those.
I love how the GOP is response has only one sentence to say about their own field, and it's totally empty calories.
I was waiting to hear WHAT the GOP had to offer that is better... I see they don't think they have anything and are proceeding on to just tearing down others with no plan for building.
Certainly, her role as First Lady was much more prominent in her career, especially compared to the cupcake jobs of US Senator and Secretary of State.By the way, are any of you buying this ridiculous "Hillary is the most qualified candidate ever" meme being pushed on us? "First Lady" being used as a qualification? Really?

Got it... Senator means nothing, Secretary of State means nothing. Being top of her class in Yale and a lawyer at the top law firm in Arkansas (yeah, I know, but still it is a state) means nothing.I see being first lady as largely irrelevant as far as qualifications. A one term senator and on term SecState is hardly impressive compared to other candidates that had more extensive government and private sector experience.Certainly, her role as First Lady was much more prominent in her career, especially compared to the cupcake jobs of US Senator and Secretary of State.
Other than her experience as being a top lawyer, Senator, Secretary of State, and Money in the Bank match winner, absolutely nothing. So again, what makes Hillary's qualifications special?

You forgot expert web server hoster and cattle futures trader.
Please. The claim was not that she has some qualifications, but that she is the most qualified candidate in recent history and possibly ever.Got it... Senator means nothing,
Not as much as you'd think. While SecState was a good stepping stone toward the presidency in the early days of the Republic (Jefferson, Madison, Monroe, Quincy Adams, Van Buren, or five out of first eight), it has become more of a terminal political position in more recent history - no SecState was elected president since Buchanan in 1856.Secretary of State means nothing.
Lawyers turned politicians are a dime a dozen. Top of her class at Yale? Wikipedia at least seems to know nothing of it. It only mentions she was in the top 5% of her high school class.Being top of her class in Yale and a lawyer at the top law firm in Arkansas (yeah, I know, but still it is a state) means nothing.
Again, none of these are special as to make her "most qualified candidate in recent history and possibly ever". In fact, I would say she is in the upper bottom half (but still bottom half) of major party nominees. Hillary has git to be the most overrated candidate ever. Certainly the most overrated "inevitable" candidate.Other than her experience as being a top lawyer, Senator, Secretary of State, and Money in the Bank match winner, absolutely nothing.
