Here Come the Libertarians!

Title: Here Come the Libertarians!

I thought for sure when I saw that title, that there would be a video of the Libertarian candidate who did a strip show at their convention. :D

Side question: even if polling at 10%, is there any congressional district where they could get > 33% and/or enough to get larger % than either Dems or Republicans?

If so, there could be an interesting thing happening with neither Trump nor Hillary getting a majority of delegates in the General Election.

It isn't that big of a deal yet. It is early and the RNC is still gathering the herd.

Honestly, a good showing for Johnson would actually help the Republican Party, meaning good turnout for the House and Senate races.

Only Maine and Nebraska allocate by Congressional district, and Nebraska may re-join the rest of the states' "winner take all" method.

We'll see. Let's see what those numbers look like after Labor Day. Unless they somehow get enough in the polls, if they're even polled consistently, to get into the debates, don't expect anything.

I'm not sure who Johnson/Weld is more likely to hurt between Trump & Clinton. I don't think it's obvious since he has some positions in line with Democrats & others in line with Republicans. It may not be consistent; there may be some places where it hurts Trump, others where it hurts Clinton.

While both are former 2 term governors, I'd be surprised if they carry even one state without either getting into the debates, or some unforeseen external event to shake up the race.

I don't think democracy should be laughed at.

The two tyrannical parties intertwined with the media and corporate sponsorship have a stranglehold on the system.

It is not democracy.

Not even close.

Voting for people chosen by a few rich elites is not democracy.

It's not as if Gary Johnson was chosen by anything different

So what exactly is there to laugh at?

Because the joke is on us.
