Activists are protesting the shooting of Delrawn Small even though it seems completely justified.

Motorist appears to punch off-duty cop before fatal shooting

Small’s girlfriend Zaquanna Albert, 35, can be seen trying to hold her man back, but he could not be restrained as their 5-month-old son and one of Albert’s teenage daughters sat in the car.
Small pummeled Isaacs, 37, through his open driver’s-side window with “big haymaker” punches before the flash of gunfire can be seen in the video, said the landlord.
“The video shows the guy coming out of his f–king car, running up to [the cop’s] car, going in the driver’s-side window and just punching the s–t of this poor cop. Then all of a sudden you see sparks,” he said, adding that the next image is of Small hitting the pavement.
He added that Small “was wailing on [Isaacs’] face, like ‘pow, pow!’ He was looking to knock this guy out, punching and punching. Maybe four punches.

The family are threatening police with violence. I hope police does not let that go, especially in the aftermath of Dallas.

Family members of the slain dad told The Post on Tuesday that if Isaacs, a three-year veteran, is not charged for the killing of Small, they’ll “hunt him down” themselves.

And then we have this gem:

At a vigil for Small on Atlantic Avenue on Wednesday night, the slain man’s brother said it didn’t matter if Small threw the first punch.
“At the end of the day, all that matters to me is that he got shot by a cop for no reason,” Victor Dempsey said.

For no reason? He had a very good reason: self defense.

But of course, he was technically unarmed. Goes to show you again, unarmed != not a threat.

#BLM friendly New York Daily News sees it differently:

Why did cop shoot? Because a drunk, crazed road rageaholic with a criminal record attacked him.
An article online is a bit more measured than the idiotic headline, but they give a lot of space to family members to spread their anti-cop hatred.

“He just had a baby, of course he's changed,” she said. “He’s been doing what he has to do for himself. He found peace within himself and at some point it (criminal behavior) stopped.”

He turned his life around? Not bloody likely, given what he did.

Note this headline, that mentions the dead guy being "unarmed" as if that has any bearing on whether the shooting was justified.

Racist newly elected NY assemblyman Charles Barron (whom I mentioned in another thread) stoked the fires by threatening violence and demanding the police commissioner be removed

“If you ignore all of our peaceful efforts for justice, violence is inevitable,” State Assemblyman Charles Barron said to roaring applause.
“We’re not going to keep dying. You can’t keep killing us. We say to Police Commissioner Bratton: Bratton must go,” he added.

A blatant lie (emphasis mine):

A ridiculous standard. Somebody can be unarmed and still do things that justify deadly force.

“Keep your eye on that question: deadly force on an unarmed civilian, no matter what they said the civilian was doing, is not justified,” Wareham said.
"Why has this officer not been arrested? He killed somebody that was unarmed. Anyone else in that situation would’ve been arrested,” the lawyer added.

Did that lawyer get his degree from University of American Samoa Law School? Does he not understand the concept of self defense?


If DeBlasio pays Small's cop-threatening family even one cent, he should be impeached.

Hold an arm and bite it?? How in the world do you expect to do that? And you're risking disease that way.

Threatening to shoot is not an answer--you're too close. If you don't pull the trigger immediately upon drawing your gun it's likely to be taken from you.

He's hitting you isn't he? Just grab the fucking arm. Self defence 101. With the gun, just lean away from him. Try it in your own car next time, if you don't think its possible to lean on the passenger seat.
