Yes folks, apparently our GOP vice presidential nominee used to draw comics in College. While I often find it strangely endearing when these white-bread republicans turn out to have goofy hobbies, this seems to be even less funny than Andy Capp.

The drawings are good! Economy of lines, nice composition. But someone surgically removed all the funny, somehow. That is the most interesting part of them - how is that operation performed?

I, too, thought the drawings were good for a college comic. After he loses, he should team up with Al Franken and do a US congress comic.

I've seen him actually speak for the first time the last couple of days, and bland isn't the word. Not to mention he keeps telling everyone who he is because they don't know...

He's like bland, tasteless tapioca rolled in styrofoam with a side of rice cakes. Romney looked positively lively next to him.
