And yes, I say he will fail. And will fail massively. At some point it will be obvious to all. But at that point, what will the Republicans and other neocons say? Will they deny the economic data or violence in front of them? Will they just claim they never were really Trump supporters? Claim that Trump really was never one of them all along. Find a way to blame Democrats? (the 2008 financial crisis was all Dems fault even though the Repubs controlled Congress, the White House and the Courts.

So what do you think will be their bullshit excuses for a Trump presidency?

The new MO seems just to be to lie wildly and repeatedly. They will claim he hasn't failed. They will claim they never supported him. The truth doesn't matter to republican voters anymore. That's a fact.

They've been doing that since Day 1 of Trump's campaign. I don't expect that to change.

There's no allegiance to Trump. They'll watch the polls, see how many of the far right can come to their meager senses and put in Pence when the opportunity presents itself. I've been of the mind that the GOP pushed Pence on Trump from the start if Trump was to get any cooperation from them. I seem to recall Pence's selection came shortly after Trump and Ryan had a little heart to heart. The GOP knows if they have to shitcan Trump, Pence won't be such a bitter pill for the far right to swallow.
No apologies necessary.

Or none of it will matter. We'll all just sit around and wait for the wind to blow.

The survivors will be too busy wondering why they were 'Left Behind' after President Pence ushered in the second coming by starting a global thermonuclear war to say anything much about Trump.

Hmmm. You may have a good point there, Bilby.

I did read one analysis of his inaugural speech was that it just set the bar so low that whatever he does will look like success. Saying the carnage against America is going to stop. He might be able to honestly claim that there is no carnage against America going on in four years.

They will say the same thing they said after Reagan when life became harder for all except the uber rich.

Those damn liberals!!

Republicans are especially ignorant people.

Just rewatch the W Admin. Support, support, support. Claim dissension is treason. Claim the media isn't reporting the good stuff. Claim the WMDs were shipped to Syria.

Then near the end, claim you never supported them.

Based on previous administrations there is a statistical chance of failure. However there is no evidence at this point to show whether it will succeed or fail and I think most people don't believe in Feng Shui or fortune telling to foresee future world events.

The Republican policies espoused have been proven to do one thing over and over.

Make rich people richer.

Make the lives of everybody else less rich.

Of course not! It has only been one -

Oh, wait...

Of course the Trump Regime has already censored crowd estimates for some reason.... while Trump himself publicly states that he "saw" a million and a half people at his inauguration. If there will be any crowd size estimating to be done, the Estimator in Chief will do it. Trust me, he will tell you what you saw.
(From the millions who were in the streets today, he will probably see a "tiny hand" full.)

Size envy is a terrible thing.

If they can re-elect Bush and blame all the Bush failures on Obama, they can do it again with Trump.

Oh, come on. PUTIN isn't even a reasonably well concealed anagram of INPUT. Clearly Putin is the front man for the whole hacking effort.

Just like other Democrats and the Republicans in the past they will make excuses for their past presidencies and blame Congress and the Senate where the opposition blocked their bills.

So they are little different from the Democrats. Shouldn't they be working together.

How would mass protests by people who simply hate the fact that the Democrats lost be relevant to anything else. Even the agenda's they have are for issues that existed under other governments so they can hardly blame the Republicans for these outstanding issue since the real issue is about the election.

Womens' Gay and Transgender rights are an issue whoever is in power.

It was the Democrats who gave us Social Security.

It was the Republicans (Reagan) that taxed Social Security benefits. Double taxation.

And people still sing the praises of that deluded idiot Reagan.

Ask the fat orange asshole who feels the need to lie about crowd sizes. Nobody gave a fuck about it until he got all butthurt and started lying about it instead of doing his job.
