The fact that he’s cooperating is significant, especially in light of pleading guilty for conspiracy against the US. If he had plead guilty and did not agree to cooperate with Mueller’s investigation, then that would be a strong sign that he is expecting a pardon and fuck all y’all. But cooperating after pleading guilty to conspiracy against the US means there were other people involved in that conspiracy.
My concern is still that the Trump Tower meeting is a false flag/red herring. The collusion with Russia and Trump started long before any such meeting. In regard to the 2016 election, that most likely began at the Miss Universe pageant in 2013. In regard to Trump being a Russian asset, that began as far back as the eighties (if not earlier).
The meeting has Stone’s fingerprints all over it and is designed for either Kushner or Trump, Jr to fall on their swords, knowing either would be pardoned. My guess is it will be Jr., because it will be far easier for Trump to justify pardoning his own son with the “excuse” being the exuberance of a son for his father, or some such equal bullshit.
That aside, these details from POLITICO are strange:
An odd inclusion.
And then there is this (emphasis mine):
A none-too-coded reference to Manafort’s family being a target of Russian agents perhaps? He certainly would have nothing to fear from any Americans, regardless of his crimes, so wtf is that supposed to mean, if not a message to Russia to back the fuck off, Manafort is taking the fall and will do as instructed?

The deal dismisses deadlocked charges against Manafort from an earlier bank- and tax-fraud trial in Virginia, but only after "successful cooperation” with Mueller’s probe into Russian election interference and whether the Trump campaign coordinated with Moscow on its efforts. Later, U.S. District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson said Manafort is agreeing to "cooperate fully and truthfully" with the investigation.
However, a source close to the defense told POLITICO, "the cooperation agreement does not involve the Trump campaign. ... There was no collusion with Russia."
An odd inclusion.
And then there is this (emphasis mine):
”Mr. Manafort has accepted responsibility,” Manafort lawyer Kevin Downing told reporters after the hearing. “He wanted to make sure his family was able to remain safe and live a good life. He’s accepted responsibility and this is for conduct that leads back many years, and everybody should remember that.”
