Cara Aiello, the teen’s mother, told CBS Miami that her daughter experienced survivor’s guilt and had been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder. She had difficulty attending college classes due to fears about being inside a classroom, her mother said.

Prayers are thoughts of hopes and dreams of something good coming out of an otherwise bad situation. They are a way of keeping the loved ones of these people in their thoughts as religious people hold prayer the ultimate form of thought.

I don't consider anything put foreword in the idea of goodness to be a bad thing, just a waste of time If my beliefs are different.
