As I said in my earlier post, I am on a sales trip so tonight I decide to cross the street and have a couple of drinks at a little bar. I was wearing the top I have on in the picture of my husband and myself and found a stool at the bar between 2 twenty something girls and a middle age couple. The bartender handed his drink to me and said it was on the house. I head one of the 20 somethings say, so if a woman comes in here almost topless, she gets a free drink" and the other one added, "it is a good thing that she is not topless because at her age those oversized boobs would sag to the floor. I asked them if they thought that a 54 year old woman was too old to wear something sexy? The middle age woman said, Sexy is one thing and slutty is another". Needless to say I just finished my drink and came back to my room. I sent a text to my husband back at home and told him I was going to post on here to hear the thoughts of all of you.

Don't be surprised if you get some glances or dropped jaws and other attention, as people can't really prevent their subconscious reactions to stimuli, but if anything is verbalized or acted on that's on them.

Better yet, I wish people wouldn’t even feel the need to have critical fashion opinions. One can look at another’s outfit and decide whether one wants it for oneself without having to judge whether another person “should” or “shouldn’t” like it.

If I want to wear white shoes after september, why is someone else saying I’m “wrong?”
If I want to refrain from ever wearing a top like that because it would be 1) cold and 2) in the way if I decided to do a cartwheel, those are decisions about me and what you do with it is not something I care about.

Like you, I've had big boobs since I was young and while you do get used to it (until I hit 50 and became invisible ), no-one should have to be used to personal comments from strangers.

thanks for being concerned but I really have not had any issues with my back. I try to work out and I think that helps. Yes these big tanks of mine do weight quite a bit LOL
