It has been the leftists on this forum that have defended blocking highways as a form of "protest" since #BLM extremists started doing it throughout the US in 2014.

Their "argument" was that a protest must inconvenience innocent bystanders to be effective.
I had predicted that if highway blocking by left-wing radials is tolerated, there is nothing stopping right-wing radicals to go and do likewise. I am just surprised it took this long.

Distinction without a difference. The #BLM extremists were also trying to intimidate others. However, Dolt 45's goons at least are not (as of now) burning down buildings and looting/vandalizing businesses like #BLM goons are doing. That makes the former slightly less objectionable.

The difference between blocking a road as part of a political protest and targeting a specific vehicle to impede the travel of a political opponent is the difference between disorderly conduct and hijacking.

Videos taken by motorists showed the president’s backers parked in the middle of the westbound lanes of the bridge, which carries Interstate 287 across the Hudson River and is named for the father of the current governor, Andrew M. Cuomo.

A number of them exited their vehicles in the rain and waved Trump banners and American flags as motorists honked their horns.
