After the beheading and separate fatal stabbings in France and a fatal stabbing in Germany, now we have another Islamic terrorist attack in
Vienna attacker acted alone and had tried to join so-called Islamic State, say authorities

The perp, a Shiptar Muslim by the name of Kujtim Fejzulai had previously been convicted of travelling to Syria to join ISIS. Why wasn't he imprisoned for longer? Why was he given Austrian citizenship in the first place?

You need to ask Austrian authorities about that.
I understand that the Austrian homicide rate is low. But historically, you don't seem to get upset when an Austrian citizen kills another Austrian citizen. Hell, you didn't get upset when a Russian killed a Chechen in Austria (https://www.dw.com/en/austria-chechen-dissident-murdered-in-vienna/a-54124497. Why the urge all of a sudden?

I read in The Gruaniad that at least two of the victims tested positive for covid 19 so they didn't really die due to terrorism.

But joking aside, the UK has raised their terrorist threat warning system to something like "imminent".

Why do you make apologies for Islamic terrorism? Why so quick to abandon Western culture and values? This was an attack on Western society. The hit on the Chechen was not. The difference is so plain that your motive for misdirection is bewildering.

Can I be the first leftist to say islamic terrorists are bad people?

Terrorists are bad people, yes.

People who make a big fuss about terrorism are their closest allies though. ISIS wants to drive a wedge between Muslims and non-Muslims. They want Westerners to react to acts like this with arbitrary aggressions and discrimination against Muslims, in the hope that that will drive Muslims who as of now abhor their actions and ideology closer to the "true Islam" they believe they represent. If your reaction to acts like this is hate-mongering against local Muslims who have nothing to do with ISIS, you might as well call yourself a mercenary for the Caliphate - that's their prime goal when carrying out attacks like this, and they've been very explicit about it in their internal publications.

There is an inevitable group will to power for Islam. Completely avoided if they don't live with you.

Vietnamese who are not Muslim aren't like this, for example.

It is plain to see that bigotry clouds your reason. I made no apologies for Islamic terrorism. Murder is murder - regardless of the ethnicity or religion of the killer and the victim.

Or are you saying that only murders perpetrated by Islamic terrorists are worthy of outrage?

Because a) he was caught by Turkish authorities before he got there, and b) he was a minor at the time.

Why was he given Austrian citizenship in the first place?

He was born in Austria, raised in Austria, radicalized in Austria. Asshole that he is, he is an Austrian asshole - and an Austrian problem. Why should North Macedonia pick up the tab?
