Cheap Laser Printer?

I have an HP P1102w laser printer and once I was able to get over the Wifi issues, it has been randomly used and consistent. I wanted to get another to replace a family member's ink jet, they just don't print enough to use an ink printer, but apparently my printer of choice is either discontinued or the pandemic is messing things up. I tried looking online and you find budget "all in ones", I don't want an all-in-one of mediocre, I want a decent printer.

Get Brother. I've never had trouble with anything from them and they are economical to run.

I've had a Samsung laser printer that has been a workhorse going on almost 16 years now. As long as the drivers keep going, it will.

Some years ago, Samsung sold it's laser printer division to HP. HP dicks around with you and tries to make it hard to reload and empty toner. Samsung used to not do such tricks, but I do not know if that has changed since the sale to HP.

I used to have a lot of respect for HP equipment, but it's been a long time since I'd trust them one byte.
