A Molotov Cocktail isn't an explosive device.

It's an incendiary, but it doesn't and can't explode.

My father was an expert witness in an English court case which hinged on this point. The defendants, who had admitted the posession of Molotov Cocktails during a riot, were found not guilty of possession of explosives. They were convicted under the Petroleum Act for unlawful storage of flammable liquids.

You're right that I often let my anger overwhelm my reason.

I do wish there were some way to provide rational feedback to the Fox Potatoes who get all their news from Hannity et al. Assuming many of these dolts were watching Biden speak, was there some way to insert a useful joke (e.g. about Tucker in the corner) into the speech?

It was UK law.

But that's irrelevant; An explosive is defined by its physics and chemistry, not by the law. If the law defined cat food as 'explosive', you could be arrested for unlawful posession of it, but that wouldn't mean it was an explosive, just that the law was stupid and wrong (which appears to be the case here). Whether the error is explicit in the legislation, and therefore can lead to a conviction in contradiction of reality; Or is only in the understanding of the arresting officers and prosecutors, and therefore could lead to acquittal if the defence has a better scientific understanding, I cannot say. The fact remains that Molotov Cocktails aren't explosives.

Well, he can put anything he likes in a speech.
But that still gives too much notice to Fox.

Trump lost his shit so often because he feared how the TV talikng heads would treat him. Biden's trying to get shit done. He's got Psaki to ask, 'When you say many Americans, that's just FORMER President Trump, right? 'Kay. Moving on.'

It'll have to come one voter at a time, asking themselves, Was i better off when Trump had the desk, or someone else?

Remember, one of Obama's biggest scandals was that he didn't sufficiently salute a Marine while exiting the helicopter. Not that he had to salute him, that's merely a courtesy. Not that he disrespected the Marine. Not that he disrespected the military.

Yet the Republicans (and I'm sure there's video of Tucker on this one) freaked out as if he'd taken a dump on the Tomb of the Unknowns.

Trump spends 4 years disrespecting the military, insulting veterans, belittling Gold Star Families, and gets a free pass. Now Tucker, who couldn't be bothered to serve ice cream as a summer job let alone in the military, has the nerve to criticize the women in the military? And Ted Cancun Cruz wants to defend HIM against he big bad Marines? Sweet non-existent Jesus these people have no shame.
