Is Georgia on your mind?

Tell me again what you know that she doesn't?
That we don't need to "go around the Constitution", for starters.

Yes, it would be nice to update our election methods at the source. Like her, I recognize that a Constitutional Amendment would be a huge undertaking, fraught with peril in the modern political climate. The USA has changed greatly in the last couple of centuries. The Founders couldn't possibly have anticipated the current situation. I'm sure that they never expected women voting, much less blacks and injuns and Mexicans.

And the issues are beyond their comprehension. Three of the biggest issues in 2016 were federal policies concerning health care reform, income taxes, and immigration. Those issues didn't even exist in the late 18th century, much less the president meddling in such state affairs.

It's just a whole different world. The president is now expected to lead people as disparate as black urban professionals and single mothers in Mississippi and semi-rural gay people like myself, as well as the wealthy educated elite. But the EC is designed to cater to the wealthy elites. By propping up the "two" party system that keeps them in power.

Trump and his merry band of dumbasses want another recount in GA: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAwTznTXi08

yes, of course he doesn't care about how much it will cost the tax payers in Georgia. It's just a rerun of the initial count, not another hand count. It's not going to change a thing. The Georgia election has already been certified and it doesn't need to be certified again unless this stupid recount changes anything, which it won't.

But, here's something hopeful, maybe.

https://www.ajc.com/politics/politics-blog/the-jolt-the-georgia-based-conspiracy-that-could-cost-loeffler-perdue-on-election-day/RME7ZMNFBZDYRPWS3IHG3QK7GE/

The road to demise came straight through Georgia for Powell - and could mean trouble for Sens. Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue, both up for reelection in the Jan. 5th runoff and both in need of Trump supporters’ votes to win.

Powell endorsed Collins in his run against Loeffler and Collins is now also an active member of the Trump legal team questioning Georgia’s vote count.

Former New Jersey governor Chris Christie told ABC News that Powell’s claims are “outrageous conduct by any lawyer” and called the overall Trump legal strategy to overturn the election results “a national embarrassment.”

Not only that, the claim also puts Loeffler and Perdue in the incredibly tight spot of having to back the Trump legal team’s recent call for a recount in Georgia, which both did on Sunday, even when one member of that legal team was suggesting that Loeffler’s election could be suspect, too.

The worry for Republicans, of course, is that attacking not only the voting system, but also one of the Republicans on the ballot, will turn off Trump’s most loyal followers from voting in January.

So, some hard core Trumpers are saying that they might sit out the January runoff. I have no idea how high their numbers are, but there are some Trump idiots who were crazy about TRump, but not so much about the other Republicans.

Perhaps our only chance of winning these seats is for disgruntled Trump voters to sit out this election while energized Democrats come out in large numbers. Stacey Abrams is already raising huge amounts of money for her organization to get out the vote. While I'm not overly optimistic, I suppose there is a ray of hope among all of this mess.

I am fully for a campaign to say "Don't vote in the runoff! tRump isn't even allowed to get his name on it! It's a sham!" And see how that fares. Apparently some right wing group has already tried similar, to boycott the election so, high hopes?

Of course, there's no write-in spot on the ballot, but just tell the MAGAdiots to write his name in any available blank space.

That website could very well be a fake site by others that want to screw with our democracy.

Or it could the legit website of a bunch of people that want to give Trump blowjobs.

That we can't tell implies Trump has broken the GOP.

I'd say there's a significant probability that it was created by an enterprising Democrat who realizes there's a good chance of getting some Trump cultists to waste their vote. I wouldn't expect foreign intervention, because the best way to keep the country tied up in knots is for the Republicans to maintain control of the Senate.

Conservatives Flock To Parler App, Claim Censorship On Facebook And Twitter : NPR
Maria Bartiromo, the Fox Business host, declared herself done with Twitter two days after the election.

She tweeted a link to an article that falsely claimed Democrats were trying to steal the election. Twitter hid the post behind a label warning that it contained misleading content. Twitter also notified Bartiromo that someone had complained about her account (even though it did clarify that she had not violated any rules and it was taking no action against her).

For Bartiromo, the label was the last straw.

"This is the same group who abused power in 2016," Bartiromo tweeted to her nearly 900,000 followers. "I will be leaving soon and going to Parler. Please open an account on @parler right away."

Why are conservatives going to a french social media site?! Damn frogs!

I’m forming a true American social media site, and will call it ALL CAPS. All content will need to be posted in ALL CAPS.

As to Parler, I think that it might be fun to troll right-wingers about "protection welfare" -- if government is so bad, then why should it be preotecting anyone?

Stacey Abrams said:
so we can basically jerry-rig the system and go around the Constitution.
Is Stacey an antigermanite?

What did you expect her to say - "nigger-rig"?

The proper (originally nautical) term "jury-rig" would be just fine.
Also, Dude, "nigger-rigging" is not the preferred nomenclature. Afro-engineering, please. [/sobchak]
