Major New Legislation Calls for Bigfoot Hunting Season

Well that's lame. Bigfoot doesn't live in Oklahoma. I thought everybody knew Bigfoot lives in Canada, in Sasquatchewan.

I had yeti when I was camping with Sean Hayes in Montana. It's stringy. Best to shoot a baby, and if you do, slice the liver into thin cutlets, roll in flour and oregano, and saute with scallops. Eat it with fava beans. Sean used to say, "Nothin' like eatin' fried baby yeti liver in Montana. This fuckin' rules."

I messed up. Recipe should read scallions, not scallops! Sean calls 'em scallops, and obviously I fell into that. (You can also use chives.) Since I'm back, I'll add that you should put the fry pan right on the coals, not over a flame.
Sean also cooked prairie oysters with steamed kale. He'd say, "Eatin' buffalo balls and baby yeti liver, can't beat that. Really packs a fellah away fer the night."

Yeti? From the Himalayas? In Montana?!? Man! Don't you just hate irresponsible collectors illegally importing from the exotic pet trade, and then when that "cute baby" grows too big, just releasing it into the wild, to wreak havoc on the local ecosystem's endangered species? I know shooting baby yetis is cruel, but they're an invasive species, so do what you have to do. Oh, and tell Sean for me he was amazing on Will & Grace! Really carried that show!

An Oklahoma state representative has filed a bill that would establish a Bigfoot hunting season in the state.

The representative doesn’t want hunters to kill Bigfoot, but rather, trap the creature and collect a $25,000 bounty.

Do you need a hunting season to live-trap an animal? Seems weird.
Or is he using this to obligate the state to pay the bounty, rather than any cryptozoology/creationist organization or effort?

I am suspicious of his motives.
Besides, that far south would be a skunk-ape, or that far west would be chupacabra.

Could be that he already has a whole family of Bigfoot (Bigfeet?) chained up in his basement and wants the reward posted before he lets anyone know.

ETA:
I thought that Skunk Apes were only indigenous to Florida.

Quite. In a discussion of Bigfoot non-lethal "hunting" season, the known range of the North American Skunk-ape, and its preference for swampy habitats is the salient detail.

Hell, No!

(In discussions of hiking footgear I sometimes identify myself as part sasquatch. Out there I'm wearing 14 wide.)

Doesn't Trump look half yeti, half Melungeon?? Something about the big nurturing man bosoms and the combed-back werewolf hair. And the unsteadiness walking down ramps, as opposed to the natural taiga landscape of his boyhood -er- monkeyhood.
