NJ Cops Accidentally Beat, Arrest, Detain, and Release Black Mayor for "Disturbing the Peace"

CAMDEN, NJ - In what the Camden police have indicated was a regrettable mistake, the Mayor of New Jersey was beaten, arrested, detained, and then released by the Camden Police Department. Mayor Carstarphen was using unusual methods of promoting vaccination by walking down the streets with a bullhorn telling people to get vaccinated. Approximately only half of the city's eligible population has received both shots, which are required to have a good immune response to the Delta variant. The Mayor noted he was looking to get the word out, with his goal to reach 70%.



A couple on lookers were threatened by a black man walking with a bullhorn and told 911 operators they feared the Blank Panthers were trying to start a riot and looting. Police were on scene in a few minutes and a scuffle reportedly began between the Mayor's security and the police. A few minutes later, police reportedly had the entire security detail and the Mayor on the ground with guns pointed at them.

The Mayor received several bruises and one of his security detail was in the hospital for a "severe laceration". The Camden Police indicated in a statement that they stood by the officers' actions and wish it had not escalated so quickly.

I saw the article of the Camden mayor and the pic and the article (and current events) just wrote itself.

The only unbelievable part is middle class white people in Camden to call the cops. Like had happened to the black realtor and the two other black people he was showing a house to.
