It's not the guns

If you have only one data point it's reasonable to assume it reflects normal. When you have a whole bunch of data points you can't look at just one and pretend it's normal when it's clearly not.
Nonsense. If you have one data point, it is impossible to extrapolate and infer anything beyond the single point. All you know is that the value of the variable was a certain number at some reference point. You have no idea if the measurement fits a pattern or is anomalous. If you have multiple data points, it may be possible to create a trend line to extrapolate or interpolate between points.

Mental health professionals spend months and even years trying to establish the baseline for their patients, and yet you are claiming that we can infer a person's mental makeup and normal state of mind from a short surveillance video. Ridiculous.
