Alex Jones did WHAaaAAAaattT????

To my understanding, the lawyers themselves don't actually handle the distribution of files (digital or physical), it's usually someone on the partners staff whos entire job is to manage the process professionally. In my 10 years of processing mechanics lien waivers I've never once accidently sent a lien waiver in error and I process 50 mechanics lien waivers per day. To top it off, I can't imagine screwing up one with over a million dollars on the line while my wallet has an erection. I also handle collections, claims for over 1000 highly active clients. To name drop two, Disney & Lockheed Martin along with every single plumbing company registered to do business in the state of Florida (Yes every single one and I deal directly with 60% of the owners).

Maybe staff members at law offices have a substantially higher rate of files being handled per day? My work load gives me doubts. You have to be out of your gosh damned mind to screw up a big one.
 
This just in. The January 6 Committee has subpeoaned these phone texts and Jones' lawyer has agreed to hand them over to the committee. This just keeps getting better.

We're talking Alex Jones. And whatever lawyer was having a bad enough professional career to think representing Jones wouldn't do any additional damage to their brand.

Maybe Jones or his lawyer pissed off somebody who could do that little deed. It will be very interesting to find out just how this really happened.

It'll be interesting because I don't think it'll be possible to know, and I don't think whoever did it is going to change their story on how it happened accidentally.

Why would ANYONE decide to fall on that sword? Personally, I really hope it's completely uncertain how it happened, just so that Jones howls more loudly and impotently as his empire of lies implodes on him.

I want his world to be cat piss, and nobody to even be able to find the cat.
 
One of the attorneys, Avi Moshenberg, told CNN on Tuesday that the bankruptcy filing made by Free Speech Systems indicated that $62 million in assets had been withdrawn from the company in 2021 and 2022.

Umm so he stashed it somewhere off shore and declared bankruptcy. I hope there are more filings happening for whatever legal ramifications this is.

Maybe someone had a conscience. Or it’s going to be the incompetent representation defense … at what point does he fake his own death and buzz off to live out his days in a palace in Uzbekistan? After the third appeal fails? Or could it be tomorrow?

I am equally old enough to remember training courses for people to make them aware of the dreaded function "Reply all". This is an own goal, an unforced error, a failure in training, a mistake in play, a result of poor coaching.

Pick your sporting metaphor. "Accidentally emailing" wasn't a valid excuse even in the 90's. That excuse is old enough for me to take it out for some drinks, a dance, a restaurant and then consensually fuck afterwards.

To "accidentally email" someone in 2022 is the same thing as having a neon sign stapled to your back that declares "I'm unprofessional and even worse I am incompetent".

I've been on a mock jury once and we needed agreement of 2/3 on a number. That could have been the lawyers making it up to shorten things, though. (And it left me with a rather low opinion of the process. It was totally obvious her injuries were radically inflated, the defense presented the smoking gun--and still most of the people wanted to give her 1/3 to 1/5 of what she was asking for.)

Whether you understand him or not he does have a valid point.

I have dealt with enough cases of dragged folders that the project I current work on specifically is able to detect jobs that got dragged into other jobs and put them back where they should be. I have personally been guilty of opening a screen of files I meant to drag.

And even an experienced user can have a shit day, and I'm going to expect that sometimes a partition in someone's head will sneak an "engineered error" in that will make them secretly feel good in a way their conscious mind will never understand not be directly aware of.
