But I'd say Wallace held Trump closer to the fire at times, including the Syria question, which immediately disputed what Trump had said earlier. Trump seemed taken aback by the question and was visibly stunned.Refried bullshit all the way, on both sides. Trump's appearance benefited from Wallace stopping him every time he started gravitating toward his natural state of blathering incoherence - I was hoping he'd be given a bit more rope with which to hang himself (not that it was needed - just wishing for entertainmnt's sake). Nothing happened that is going to change either the electoral or popular vote.
*yawn*
Wallace did not press Clinton on the Clinton Fndn. He asked about pay for play and Clinton responded saying that they help give AIDS treatment to 11 million people. Wallace also never brought up the State Dept / FBI wrangling. And Wallace brought up the Wikileaks in a negative light, as in the leaking itself, not the content.
However, Wallace at times seemed to give Trump openings, but then Trump would lob a response towards Clinton and she'd smack it out of the park.
