Since it is now October 8th it is now obvious that we were incorrect regarding the world’s ending on the 7th.

Good job! You've admitted you made a mistake. That's step one.

Therefore saying it was a ‘strong likelihood’ was a true statement. We also openly acknowledged that there was a small likelihood that it would not happen. There was no lie or deceitfulness involved in any way.

They just misunderstood. It wasn't the end of the world on the 7th but the Rapture. All the truly worthy in god's eye were taken up on the 7th. It's a shame that these folks apparently didn't make the grade.

Anyway, I know this end-of-the-world thing popped up kind of last minute, so I understand if they were too busy preparing, but I'm still a bit disappointed they didn't answer my email asking for them to send me some money. I thought that since they wouldn't be needing money anymore, I could take it off their hands and put it to good use. Not a polite refusal or anything. They just ignored me.
