• Welcome to the Internet Infidels Discussion Board.

Another video of my nephews band, this time playing at the semi-famous Machine Shop

He does have a killer voice. They need to record from the p.a system to show how well he can sing but I can tell from just a phone recording that he has a voice that would work with any type of music. Rock may not even be his calling. You never know. He is good at rocking too though

I used to live a few blocks from this place, which back in the day was a singles/disco somethingorother called Conto's, not famous.

I agree, take audio from the board. Use two cameras if necessary.

Nephew keep up the good work.

He's been doing cover band work since his late teens, mostly playing drums, his first instrument. With this band, he wanted to branch out to doing exclusively his own songs. They're developing quite a following, being voted the region's best alternative band this past spring.

Agree about the recording issue. They do have an EP recorded in the studio. I think it's on Soundcloud. I'll see if I can find a link.

Found it.

Oh, and The Machine Shop gets some pretty big bands playing there now. Sevendust is playing there next month, A show I'd like to go see.

I don't know how the rock clubs do business, but usually a video reel is a good move.

If you can get another camera and position it high up near the board(where it'd have to be to get audio out), and use the second for other angles, you could put one together in imovie or something pretty easily.
