I know 1996 is dated, but there was the Atlanta Olympics bombing by Eric Rudolph. And there have been a scattered number of abortion clinic shootings. Sure, it isn't common place. Generally in America, people are killed over more banal things.

My brother was called up by the National Guard to help provide security for the Olympics. He helped treat casualties at that bombing.

Maybe not invite millions of religious Muslims to flood into the West with no regard of who they are and what their ideology is.

Deport radicals and criminals who are already in the West, especially extremist imams.

Certainly the proposed solution of Zoidbergs and Higginses (to stick the head in the sand and ignore the problem) is no solution, and neither is the proposed solution of untermensche (blame US for everything).

And released him because there was no evidence linking him to the bombing. At this time, there is no real evidence that this is an example of Islamic terrorism. It may turn out to be an example. Is your fear/bigotry so strong that you must jump to conclusions?

Remember how when an Islamist from Kosovo went on an ax rampage in Düsseldorf (only a month ago!) the police/media only said that he was from "former Yugoslavia" to avoid identifying him as an Islamic attacker.

Otherwise, when you intentionally omit salient information that your claims , it makes reasonable readers to mistakenly place in you in intellectually dishonest bigot category.

German authorities are under a great deal of pressure from Angela Merkel to downplay the threat of Islam. That is because Merkel is the one who unleashed the flood of Islamists coming into Germany (one million in 2015 alone) and there are elections on this year.
Note that it took them days to admit that the "36 year old from former Yugoslavia" was a Muslim from Kosovo, a region with very radical Muslims who keep pushing Serbian population out of formerly Serbian Kosovo (shows you what mass migration and mass breeding can do).

There have been two ax attacks of which I am aware. Hardly a sufficient sample for any rational person to make any claims about "orders of magnitude"
