I loved Paxton's easy-going charm and skill with comedy -- he did a nice hosting job on SNL back in the 90's. Was amazed to see him take character parts in some recent action films (because he was nearly unrecognizeable -- in one of them, I had to replay his scenes after seeing his name in the end credits -- I'm referring to that replay-the-past story, but I can't remember the title.) He had the modesty and self-deprecation of Jeff Bridges.
