The big gum companies must be buying the silence of the media over their evil exploits.

It's funny, I thought this might be one industry that did use child labor or Oompa Lumpa slave labor for whatever is used to make gum.

I haven't been able to find grape Big League Chew, or watermelon Bubbalicious in a store in years - everything is minty oversized individually wrapped chicklets. If that's doing things right then I'm Santa Claus

Yeah, the bubble gum companies have been strangely quiet and straight as an arrow ever since that incident between Bazooka Joe and that 6 year old Thai girl.

I think Wrigley is now trying to put caffeine into gum, maybe they already did.

There's a bit of controversy and the FDA is overseeing it.

This illustrates why the gum industry is so benign.

Regulation about what they put in their gum and regulation in telling people what is in the gum.

Good old government regulation doing a fine job.

They are here to chew bubble gum and kick ass. But they are never out of bubble gum...

I was taught there's a difference between doing things right and doing the right thing. I keep getting them confused, but I think the former has to do with efficiency whereas the latter has a moral component. Either way, if they haven't gotten caught, then there's no good evidentiary reasons to express disdain for the evil bastards that haven't been busted for their ugly deeds.
