Chloroquine (and Trump) Debunked

Don't forget to shine a light inside your body. UV radiation is an important part of the treatment.

When people tally up the PINO's 18,000+ lies, do they retroactively add the ones that are only proven false months later?
As is so often the case, he is not just wrong, but tragically wrong. Believe Trump at your own peril.

Study finds no benefit, higher death rate in patients taking hydroxychloroquine for Covid-19

In the study of 368 patients, 97 patients who took hydroxychloroquine had a 27.8% death rate. The 158 patients who did not take the drug had an 11.4% death rate.

Not an overwhelming sample size but I'm sure the way the PINO is handling this thing there will be many more potential subjects.

The President has finally clarified this: You take the hydroxychloroquine with a cocktail including disinfectant and a tablespoon of fish-tank cleaning fluid, and injections of Lysol into the lungs.
I just thought it worth noting that this is funny, and very unexpected from Lumpy

Some people are happy that a proposed treatment didn't work and the suffering continues, as long as it hurts a political opponent.

It's not that we are happy it didn't work, it's just we are not happy with His Flatulence promoting it when we had only very poor quality suggestions it might work.

Yeah, I've heard this sentiment from a lot of Trump supporters. It's a projection of their own insecurities. It's very much the same thing as when a Trump supporter posts a statement they know to be false and gets called out on it. They then claim it was just "to trigger libs".

In their minds, lying, deceit, and falsehoods, are acceptable if it somehow harms a political opponent. They think everyone feels this way, which is patently false, but no one can tell them that.

If this drug were effective against Covid19, it would be a good thing for everybody. No sane person would feel differently. The problem is, Trump's trumpeting about a drug which has not been tested in this application has harmed some people. It also means people working under Trump will now be reticent to tell him about any developments, making him even more ignorant about the real situation.

This seems to be of little consequence to Trump supporters, as the immediate result was to reduce the weaker members of the American population.

Let's see the link to that comment.

Anyone who quotes from the youtube comments section is a naive fucking moron who has zero credibility. If they are too idiotic to realise how irrelevant an unsourced unverified quote is , they have my permission to go fuck themselves with a rusty railspike.

I agree with this 100%. Sounds like a smart guy.

It's called Nutpicking, coined by Kevin Drum, "the fallacious tactic of picking out and showcasing the nuttiest member(s) of a group as the best representative(s) of that group — hence, "picking the nut".

If the best evidence of wackjobism you can find is a few anonymous nutballs commenting on a blog, then the particular brand of wackjobism you're complaining about must not be very widespread after all.

That's political reality, just like conservatives were happy to exploit a dead ambassador when Hillary won the nomination.

Trump is not going to lose because of a virus. He is going to lose because this viral pandemic has exposed his utter incompetence as a manager and his shortcomings as a human being. The Covid19 crisis and Trump's political crisis are two different things. The virus is a phenomena of nature, like a flood or a tornado. Trump's crisis is all of his own making. This was his opportunity to be a historic figure. Chances like this don't appear very often and he blew this one. There won't be another chance.

The only question left unanswered at this point is how long his supporters can stand to appear to be utter fools for defending him, only to get boned for it, time and time again.

Also, no one made such comments to begin with. Right wing authoritarian followers have to make stuff up to pretend their opposition is just as crazy as they are.

Yeah, just like how Americans that didn't support invading Iraq were joyous over the death toll, because they thought invading Iraq would open Pandora's box.

I think what you should have gotten from all of this was that we are disappointed that people that could have been tested for different treatments based on what doctors thought was good, were instead treated with something because of the whim of the President.

It is incredible that Mr. Libertarian is apparently not going to take much of a verbal stand against Big Government (The President) literally getting involved (meddling) in the treatment of patients, despite that being one of the largest objections of Libertarians to UHC. Instead, the Libertarian comes in and whines about liberals saying that Trump shouldn't have gotten involved with treatment protocols especially regarding this drug..'Meh, you just want people to suffer.'

^Yep! GWB (barely) won re-election in 2004 with the US embroiled in 2 occupations that weren't going well. His post 9-11 polling shot up almost 40 points, and then slowly sagged down over 7-9 months. It turns out that the Repugs gave us a new low standard for poor presidents. So with no 'great economy' now, it will be a tough slodge for Clownstick to try to equal his just scraping a win by like last time. He is even going to have to fight for Texas. The con is old and worn...

Swiftboating, The Tea Party, whatever you want to call these moronic protests against social distancing etc...don't underestimate how motivated at least a third of Americans are to campaign against their interests.

Cheating can make crappy performance irrelevant. It's the one thing he's good at. Watch it work.

People are now hoarding famotidine (Pepcid) because doctors are trying it on a couple hundred severely ill COVID patients, using 9 times the normal dose intravenously.

If fuckhead announced that motor oil might prevent infection, we could solve the oversupply of oil and idiots at the same time.
