My former congresswoman (I though up a little in my mouth at the mere thought!) is back in the news.
She is tweeting about a conspiracy theory that LAPD paid Eric Holder (not THAT Eric Holder!) to shoot Nipsey Hussle (some obscure rapper that now everybody claims to have always been a big fan of) outside his store in LA. You know, like that did Two-pack Shaker. She also blames COINTELPRO even thought it was an FBI program which was discontinued almost 50 years ago.

As always (like when she claimed that the government is deliberately giving black kids autism via vaccines or her 911 Trutherism) she is cuckoo for cocoa puffs!

With so many important or interesting issues, why the obsession with your former congresswoman? Why the need to interject a clearly derogatory reference to murdered rapper?

The accused killer is being represented by an OJ attorney (remember the "LA Police framed OJ" defense?).
They claim that the LA Police department offered him money to assassinate the rapper (sound familiar?).

COINTELPRO ("Counter Intelligence Program") was ended in 1971. It was a program within the FBI that monitored and conducted operations against political activists, including civil rights proponents.

The height of hubris here is the idea that this particular rapper's political influence rises above currently living figures with a, you know... ACTUAL influence.

So this conspiracy theory is part OJ-defense and part glorification of a nobody rapper... and easily eaten up by run-of-the-mill dindus.
