I know the other thread exists, but I think the intention of it was specifically to catalog Trump’s statements.

I was hoping to get a general catch-all for stupidity by Republicans more broadly.

The day before millions of Texans lost power for over 18 hours:

The irony - a few days ago they wanted to secede. Now they want federal aid.
Biden should pull a Donald, and make them come to DC to pledge fealty to his dogs if they want any federal money.*

* No, not really

The Exploted: Police Shit said:
Police lie on oath
It happens all the time
15 years for the guildford four
Innocent people sent them off to jail
You could be next
Can't trust the police at all
Can't trust the police at all
Police shit
Walking down the high street
With a friend of mine
Got stopped by the police
They asked us where we're from
I wouldn't tell him
Told him to go and get stuffed
He radioed for backup
Then they locked us up

I'm getting some mixed signals. First he says that "the weak will parish", but in the next sentence invokes the "Folks God". Doesn't the Folks God have parishes?

I thought if you were paying for a service you had the right to expect the service.

I live in Corsicana, a city in Texas, and we are all not hard hearted people. We even elected an actual Socialist mayor many years ago.

People who elect illiterate morons deserve what they get.
"Parish".

Aaaaannnnd he's gone.

Texas mayor says he had already resigned after writing ‘only the strong will survive’ amid cold, power outages

Oh, so he didn't resign because of his idiotic rant, he went on the idiotic rant after resigning.

Even if that is true, it still makes him an idiot, and a perfect example of all the Republican party has to offer.

And they wonder why we call them Nazis, when they use the same exact rhetoric Nazis did.

They think small, or aspirationally big, in Texas. Their Colorado City had a population of a bit over 4, 000 in 2010, according to Wikipedia.

So the Rick Perry is saying Texans would rather go without power at a time when they are without power and therefore unlikely to have internet access to see that he is saying that or respond to it.
