You do not see sandwich boards on protests that much. It's usually picket signs and banners.
So I wonder if the use of sandwich boards was a deliberate homage to the Kauft nicht bei Juden ideological predecessors of BDS.

How is it far-fetched? Early Nazis boycotted Jews because they were Jews. BDS boycotts Israel because it's the Jewish state.
BDSers know what they are.

Bullshit. BDS protests Israel because because they continually oppress the Palestinians. If anyone resembles Nazis, it's the Israeli government.

Bullshit right back at you. BDSers only care about Israel, and do not care about any other countries' records. And you ignore that most of the so-called 'oppressing' is nothing more than defense against terrorists like Hamas.
Note that (to get back to them) when DSA voted for BDS they chanted "from the river to the sea Palestine will be free". That is a chant of those who wish to see Israel destroyed and replaced with so-called "Palestine" in the entire area, not just West Bank and Gaza.

Nobody wants a boycott of Israel because it is a sickening religious state that prefers one religion over another.
They want it because the Israeli government has oppressed and killed and stolen from Palestinians for decades.

Nazis boycotted Jews because they believed that Jews were the cause of all of their ill and because Jews were less than human. People who advocate boycotting Israel based their advocacy on Isreal's treatment of the Palestinians. The motivations are completely different. It is ridiculous to equate the two.

I don't know what all the hubbub is about. I think that she was just a little nervous. She recently stated that she believed in Israel's right to exist and favored a two state solution. Not much controversy there. Give her some time. BTW: Fox News is extremely condescending towards her.
That doesn't always mean what it sounds like: Some want this but with Israel having no meaningful ability to deal with terrorism.
