Let me give you another example. If say Seamus O'Connor of Cleveland, Ohio gives money to IRA isn't it relevant to point out that he is Irish and that that's why he supports Irish terrorists, even if he was born in US and only holds US citizenship?

You are confusing threat and action. Evidence of a threat is the threat. The target of the threat was Jews. A threat to kill Jews does not require showing a dead Jew to prove the threat was made, only that the threat was carried out. Do you think her bosses should have waited for a dead body before firing her?

Assume that there is someone who has repeatedly displayed a visceral hatred of you and they write a tweet that they are going to blow your head off as soon as they have the opportunity . Would you take that as a joke and demand waiting for evidence or would you demand something else be done?

But as an American, it is my responsibillity and my place to stand up for my fellow Americans, as Americans.

We, meaning people today, seem to be very fond of seeing someone who avows a position that we find...unattractive, unpallitable, repugnant, even, as somehow foreign—we are so quick to point out differences—or ‘differences,’ as though these ‘differences’ are somehow armor that protect us from being..contaminated by such disgusting opinions, habits, ideologies. Different sides of the sane coin are still the same coin.

I agree with Walt Kelly: we have seen the enemy and he is us.

You are making a claim that her writing was in jest. Supporting this claim is not looking for evidence to support a negative. Cleveland Clinic apparently didn’t think it was a joke, nor have the schools she attended. They’re all pretty certain she made threatening comments. I’m sure that in the event of legal charges, the courts would also fail to see any humor and indeed would take such comments seriously and as evidence of intent and premeditation. I’m pretty sure Cleveland Clinic’s legal team agrees with me.

If you have a case, other than your stated sympathy with the sentiments she has expressed , please present it.

It doesn't even matter if she was joking, if she ever made a medication error with a Jew she--and her employer--would be crucified in the malpractice suit. She's unemployable as a doctor, period.
