Tampa, FL -- Among a group of enthusiastic supporters, the elephant icon from the GOP insignia announced it was going to run for the Republican nomination for President in 2016. The insignia said it was going to "take America back" and honor "true American values" and use a "grass roots" campaign to spread its message across America. The Insignia joined Lindsey Graham and 31 other Republicans in joining the Republican Primary today. The total number of people running for the chance to be the Republican Nominee rocketed up to 1,497 and is expected to climb when every Republican male in Texas will announce their candidacy later this week.
The Icon wasn't doing well initially in polling, receiving only 2%. However, with the wide open field, anything and everything is expected to happen.
