This is not to say that I do not believe in equality under the law. I do, but would ignore it for my higher duty to family if the need should arise.

The protection of home as the family hub and backbone of society is why moral men should and do put women and their children above themselves.

That is the highest of a male’s duty to humanity and our evolving species and is a part of our instincts.

If a man, and you do not live by the law of the sea and put women and children and their needs above your own, even on land, then you would not be doing your highest or first duty to humanity.

Do you agree?

Completely!
(Except for the brats and the bitches. :D)

You're promoting the family over the state? Off to the re-education camp with you!

Do you agree?
Disagree. If I were Jack, and we both could not fit on that plank, I am pulling Rose off. So long, and thanks for modelling. Or something. I never watched the movie. I just know the Mythbusters segment and the "French girls" meme. And the sky was all wrong.

"Re-education"?
When the alt-white agenda is fully implemented, there will be no re-education. Re-education would require education in the first place.

There was a study on this. Turns out in shipwrecks overall, survival chances are: crewmen > men passengers > women passengers > children. Women and children first into the drink, crewmen and other men first into the lifeboats. The "law of the sea" you speak of was merely company policy of the White Star Line. Women and children first into the lifeboats made the Titanic an extreme outlier in the statistics of sea disasters. So I have my doubts as to whether men putting women and their children above themselves is really part of our instincts.

It would be interesting to see how the Titanic disaster would play out in 2018 with all the demands for equality between men and women in today's gender bender world. Would the women step up and demand the right to suffer and die a painful death in 32 degree water along with the men? Would the men help out the women despite the feminist's disdain of men rescuing the "damsel in distress" (thanks Anita Sarkeesian!).

Reminds me of a classic Bill Burr clip"

Seems that things have changed a bit since the chivalrous Titanic days. Here's what happened on the Costa Concordia back in 2012:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-2087585/Cruise-ship-Costa-Concordia-sinking-Whatever-happened-women-children-first.html

One of the features of the disaster that has provoked a great deal of comment is the stream of reports from angry survivors of how, in the chaos, men refused to put women and children first, and instead pushed themselves forward to escape; and how the Italian crew ignored passengers and reportedly shouldered their way past mothers and pregnant women to get into lifeboats.

That pretty much is Abrahamic misogyny. Put the woman on an idealistic pedestal but tell her what to do, what to wear, and how to act. There is a Christian term for women who subordinate themselves willingly to the man in the family, it escapes me.

What we discovered post 60s is that the American Christian nuclear family was riddled with verbal and physical abuse. The woman exists to manage the house and make herself sexually available on demand with no right o refusal.

I never married, but I'd be bored to tears in lifelong relationship with a woman who subordinated herself.
