Seems to me that a lot of English grammar is stilted and repetitive. These verbal memes are more efficient nad get even more meaning across.
A lot of these verbal memes drop the excessive articles (the, a, an, his, her) from these sayings. These articles are proper, but surely are not needed to convey meaning.
One I can think of now is "some desired event/collaboration when?
This is excellent use of syntax to convey meaning and anticipation, even if garbage grammar officially.
