Yes, that's right folks, the FCC is finalizing rules to provide a subsidy for broadband access to families in poverty during this pandemic... which (hopefully) is near its end. Granted, Broadband is a necessity, the pandemic proved it. But still, it seems very sad that the FCC took about the length of a pandemic to help provide broadband support to people in poverty. Thankfully, at least some areas, had internet providers that stepped up with broadband access and they didn't wait for the FCC to get the barn door closed after the cow, that escaped a year ago... died from old age.
