FOX News suspended Erika Reidt for posting a comment about a picture showing basketball players wearing this t-shirt:
The t-shirt is a reference to the Eric Garner grand jury decision (Eric Garner was choked to death by the police). Her comment was this:
While her comment is indeed disgusting, I don't understand why FOX News seems to think this is any more disgusting than any of the other things being said by conservatives on this issue. Why was this worth a suspension? Supporting acts of police brutality (particularly against African-Americans) is inherently part of the "I'm for small government" part of the conservative ideology they push at FOX News. What is it about this particular comment that they regard as being so bad?
Is this evidence that FOX News is moving away from the extreme far right? Is this an indication that the public is moving away from the extreme far right? Is this evidence that FOX News is becoming part of the international media conspiracy against white people (i.e. "political correctness")?
