Russian Orthodox Patriarch Kirill has shaken his staff at Ukrainian Nazis and endorsed Russia's righteous invasion, which will strike a blow against the liberal countries of the West who have been pressuring Ukrainians to allow "gay parades" in Ukraine. He had been staying silent on the subject until now in order to avoid a schism with the Ukrainian Orthodox Churches that had been staying loyal to him. Apparently, some of the Ukrainian loyalists have taken the position that their parishioners can forget about Kirill in their prayers. No word yet from God on whose side he will come down on. After all, Nazis also persecuted gays.

The Russian Orthodox Church is veyr much in bed with the presumptive goodwill of the authoritarian structure of Putin's Russia, and they will continue to endorse his personal convictions even at their own cost, indefinitely.
