Yet more true xtians caught in the act....

Former Arkansas State Senator Johnathan Woods has been sentenced to 220 months in prison for a fraud scheme that involved another Republican legislator and the president of a conservative Christian college.
Beginning in January of 2013, Woods and State Rep. Micah Neal gave $600,000 in taxpayer money to two non-profits in the state in exchange for bribes. One of those groups was Ecclesia College in the northwest part of the state. The small Bible school received the bulk of that money… but only because they agreed to give the politicians a healthy kickback.

I'd really like to see a well designed study looking at cases of fraud and political skullduggery of this sort, to see if they are committed more often by those who loudly and frequently proclaim their Christian faith and morality, than are those perpetrated by officials and politicians who don't make a big thing of their religious beliefs. Also I suspect that Republicans are way more prone to this sort of criminality than are Democrats, at least within the past 3 or 4 decades.

I'd say that it's not the kind of criminality one commonly finds with Democrats. Republicans, on the other hand, spend much of their lives fraudulently arranging kickbacks as a way of life. It's called 'bidness'. It's habitual. I'm just surprised one of them didn't have a gay lover who was dealing opiates to the others. That seems more par for the course on Republicans these days.
