Grand Juries for Police Killings

I think that it would be good to isolate this issue of whether or not Wilson was treated with kid gloves compared to a normal grand jury.

From what little I have read and heard it seems so. I think it would be good to not rehash the details of the shooting but to focus on what procedures the prosecutor followed compared to a civilian on civilian killing.

This is a biased editorial on this topic - they are too left wing for my taste. But they SEEM so raise good points.

It is naive to believe the justice system has anything to do with justice.

It is about power and maintaining the status quo where the rich get richer and everybody else just marks time and dances the dance the ruling 1% chooses.

Those in power like it that a few uppity blacks get shot and killed now and then. It will keep the rest in line. And conditions are going to get worse for blacks and they have to learn that resistance is futile.

The police work for the rich. If people don't know that they will understand very little.

This is why the police attacked unions as they tried to gain power, why the police fully cooperated in the red hunts of the 50's, why the police violently attacked the occupy protestors all over the country, and why the police harass and arrest so many blacks.

To the ruling elite, black children are either totally expendable or a resource to make money from with for-profit prisons. They are not something the government should spend any money on. They are something private profiteers should exploit.

And the police are merely the agents allowing this transfer of wealth from governments to private hands grinding up the lives of millions of blacks in the process.
