No one has given any reason to worry about Russian propaganda in USA politics. All we hear is paranoia about it, but nothing about what harm the propaganda is doing. There's plenty of domestic propaganda in the elections, much babble and demagoguery about nothing that makes sense, much garbage which distorts the truth and manipulates voters this way or that.

What harm is there if the Russians and Chinese and other foreigners join in this warfare with their own babble garbage added to the mix?

Some of it is probably good by comparison to the domestic propaganda we get. Overall it probably is an improvement in our elections.

The best improvement would be to totally legalize it and have all the propagandists pay some kind of tax for it. They already do, one way or another, with commercial announcements and campaigning.

We need to find ways to tax all the election campaigning by all of them, no matter who, or in what form or what platform, so that the millions (billions) they spend is taxed and some federal revenue is raised from it.

Our intelligence also couldn't find evidence of Saddam connections to Al-quada.

To be fair, intelligence is a difficult field that is rarely 100% correct on anything. But I really hate politicians who make decisions on faulty intelligence, and then they try to blame the mess on intelligence. Sorry, but the blame for invading Iraq is entirely on the Bush administration.

It would seem to me the problem isn’t so much that Russia interfered with the election, and continues, the problem is that Trump won’t do anything about it and won’t acknowledge it except for when he encourages it (calling on Russia to find Hillary’s emails).

I think the Left would feel a whole lot better if he acknowledged it as a problem and at least attempted to do something about it. His attempt to rectify the situation was the Helsinki debacle, and that just added fuel to the fire and further divided the country.

Trump can't acknowledge it because he thinks it would be admitting collusion and I think democrats agree and democrats who lost to Trump need that admission in order to excuse their loss to Trump.
