I have not verified this is all true. I have strongly mixed feelings about Israeli politics. The part that bothers me are of course the Zionist actions and positions. I find a great deal of hypocrisy that I can't fathom.

Anyway, this article made that side of me smirk a bit. Although I felt a little bad for the State Leader not getting on the bus apparently. But the antics described in the parade are rather bizarre. And then the French Jews singing the national anthem in response to an invite to Israel was a very revealing touch.

Then, the kick-in-the-butt came after Netanyahu spoke at a Jewish synagogue afterwards. He was well received at first, with loud cheering and accolades. But instead of embracing a moment of mourning and solidarity, Netanyahu overplayed his hand and invited all French Jews to emigrate to Israel.

Netanyahu’s audience responded to the Israeli prime minister’s transparently self-serving invitation by bursting into song with the French national anthem, “La Marseillaise.” That moment — along with Netanyahu’s frozen sourpuss face — is hilariously shown in the YouTube video captured by Reuters, below.

Bibi - people aren't as tunnel-visioned as you think.

שמחה according to google.
That's just "happiness".

On another note, I put in schadenfreude to google translate, and got "malicious joy" as one of the alternative translation. When I translated that to hebrew, and back to english, it was "happy vaporize". WTF?

Wow. That's poetic.

When you look at that link (which I have found rather biased in the past) you find it's from Haaretz. They make Faux Noise look honest.

Also while reading that, could help but notice the hypocrisy from Bibi, also noted by his countryman.

Wait! Wait! You can't say that! We've been telling everyone how dangerous the arabs are to us, how we live "under rockets every day!" How much the world needs to respect our martyrdom! Don't be saying out loud that we're safer than anywhere else!

Ben Caspit, an experienced Israeli commentator, mocked Mr Netanyahu's attempt to portray Israel as a safe haven. "Are the Jews of Paris more threatened than us?," he asked in Maariv newspaper. "All of Israel's territory is targeted by thousands of accurate and heavy rockets and missiles that could be fired on our heads in the next flare-up with Hizbullah. Just this past summer, Tel Aviv (Tel Aviv!) was a city that was bombed for 50 days. So the French should flee here?"

At least in Israel, if you are the victim of terrorism, you can be happy in the knowledge that at least ten innocent Palestinians will be killed in reply.

Jews have the right of return anyway, so I'm not sure what Bibi's point was other than to annoy people.

"Benjamin Netanyahus planned speech before the US Congress may cost him his position as Prime Minister, it turns out. For the opposition Labor-Hatnuah alliance, called the “Zionist Camp,” the speech could not have been better timed. The coalition, running in opposition to Netanyahu’s Likud Party, has jumped on the plan as another example of the embattled Israeli leader being, as some now call him, “the Republican Senator from the great State of Israel.”
