I think the entire DOJ should ignore everything Whitaker says or does until he or someone else is confirmed by the Senate.
Thoughts?

He has no right to his position. I say they should just ignore his orders and have hime escorted out of the building.

Extend the Mueller investigations, but DON'T STOP THERE!

There should be a new attitude about the investigations:

Instead of ending the Mueller investigations, they need to start new investigations targeting everyone -- most/all of the Congressmembers and all members of the President's cabinet. Also Hillary C. and some others from the Obama Administration.

There should be hundreds of investigations, just as aggressive as the Trump-Russia investigations.

What is really needed is to open grand-jury investigations of every elected or appointed high-level official in Washington, currently and going back several years.

To keep the cost down, and also to make the investigations more honest, they should be conducted by the grand-jury members and not by legislators or prosecutors or other professional attorneys.

Perhaps the investigations would be limited to only those who are accused of anything by anyone, so that MOST of the Senators and House members would be investigated, perhaps not all, and most or all the Cabinet officials would be.

The Grand Juries should have subpoena power to force anyone to testify, including the one under investigation, though still allowing them time to also do their job.

You mean people not suspected of wrongdoing should be hauled into court?

I agree with that. If a single one of them is arrested for failing to obey the imposter sycophant, let it go to the Supreme Court. Justice Roberts - the stalwart of the right - has already come out in opposition to letting shitgibbon's consigliere hold the position.

Can the House impeach the AG?

The U.S. Constitution provides that civil officers of the United States, which would include the U.S. Attorney General, may be impeached by Congress for treason, bribery or high crimes and misdemeanors. ...

Many seem to think so. But in reality... 2/3 Senate majority? I don't think so. And Cheato - who doesn't "even know Matt Whitaker" would probably get to know him, and ask him to go away and find a clone without so much baggage before allowing the House spectacle to unfold. Like maybe "find me someone who isn't under investigation by the entity he's supposed to be leading"?

Bad idea. They should go after the ones where there is actual reason to think there's a problem. Look at what has happened with the Mueller investigation--plenty of other bad apples have been exposed in the process. There's no need to use a shotgun, they're not independent.

Right, anyone who is accused by someone. Which is most of them. ALL accusations should be investigated. This does not mean the sky falls. The ones accused will continue doing their job, while they're investigated. They would have to take the time to answer a subpoena, but that would require only a day or 2, so they would continue to function while being investigated. Why shouldn't ALL those accused be investigated?

That's the way it should be. As soon as someone accuses anyone, there should be a new investigation launched in order to investigate the new accusations. What's wrong with that?

Perhaps in some cases the accusers are guilty of lying, in which case then those accusers are the ones who should be investigated and perhaps charged with a crime. False accusations should also be criminal and should lead to action taken against those false accusers.

There's no need to use a shotgun, they're not independent.

It's not a "shotgun" if only those accused of something are targeted. There are far too many who are accused and are never investigated or forced to answer the accusations.

Those who seek high positions of power over society, over all of us, should be prepared to answer all accusations from anyone.
