Is the coverage of the Canadian drug importation bill lessened because of wall to wall drug commericals?

I hardly ever watch tv anymore, especially cable news. So many drug commercials, I feel sick by hypochrondria. How are these even legal?!? If there are any people who haven't been to the US in the last 20 years, it will STUN you the amount of drug commericals. That and reverse mortgages and so on.

I do wonder if the news covered the bill that Bernie Sanders was pushing for in great detail and forbid advocated for it, if their sponsors would do a slowdown on their commercials.
