ISIS is full of shit and fuck all alt right nutters who eat it up

This is exactly the paranoia I'm talking about. Just completely fucking nuts. Yes, I am oblivious to the threat. I don't think the threat is real. I think you don't have a grasp of history and have zero context or proportion.

P.S.: I know English is not your first language, but you are using "snowflake" wrong. Your mistake was to trust the likes of Don2 and laughing dog on usage. That would be like looking up to Trump for guidance on how to act presidential in a crisis.

A snowflake is sensitive and needs mollycuddling to prevent it from having it's feelings hurt. Everything new is a threat and scary for the snowflake

Yep, nothing to see here. Move along, everyone.....

There's been terror attacks for one reason or another all the time. There's nothing new here. The only thing that is new is that news reporting is more efficient now. Fake news is also back to the levels we had when the Bible was written.

Humans are a violent species. We kill each other. The hard part isn't to explain why some people commit acts of terror. But why there's so little of it.

Acts of terror has also a lot to do with what is trendy at the moment. At the beginning of the 20'th century anarchism was the trendy one. Then nationalism. After WW2 communism. Now nationalism is back... and Islam. There's a pattern here. The only thing we can be sure these terrorists have in common is membership in the same species.

I think the underlying motor for all these acts of terror is that a person's main motivator in life is fear and hate. The rest if fluff. The culture around these people can either promote it or deal with it.

I think your attitude is conducive to getting more Islamic terrorism. Not less.

They say that ISIS has never claimed something they haven't really done. So this would be the first time.
Who the fuck are "they" and are they same idiots that are promoting the ISIS link in the first place, giving ISIS exactly what it wants?

Besides, "they" are patently wrong and full of shit:
https://www.vox.com/world/2017/10/2/16403958/las-vegas-shooting-isis-claim-responsibility
“ISIS in recent months has made a number of demonstrably false claims for attacks and incidents that had no jihadi terror nexus,” writes Paul Cruickshank, the editor-in-chief of the terrorism-focused journal CTC Sentinel. “Exhibit A of a false ISIS claim was their claim for attack on Manila, Philippines casino resort in June. Perpetrator was [an] indebted gambler.”
<snip>
"It seems like they're desperate for attention and will claim just about everything," Colin Clarke, a terrorism expert at the RAND Corporation, told NBC News. "They've lost so much territory, and they fear they're becoming irrelevant."

Media coverage that promotes this line, despite the lack of evidence, helps ISIS’s strategy to succeed. Research online media show that people rarely read past the headlines and first few paragraphs. Stories like this one from Newsweek’s Jack Moore, which doesn’t raise doubts about the claim of responsibility in Las Vegas until the seventh paragraph, helps spread the terrorist group’s spurious claim.

It’s also incredibly hard to correct false information once it has spread into various media ecosystems, especially when that false information is politically convenient. For right-wing outlets especially, making Las Vegas about terrorism rather than gun violence puts them in much more comfortable ideological territory. Hence why some of the more unscrupulous ones, like Gateway Pundit and Infowars, are still amplifying ISIS’s claim of responsibility.

Then there are people like Alex Jones saying he was working with antifa in the effort to start a new civil war. In the meantime, most of the media is wondering what the motive was. And the authorities are very slow to release any real information. Ive read they say they have evidence of an escape plan but then won't give any details. Why not?
Alex Jones/Infowars is slime selling shit to enrich (and/or for attention/fame) himself. Listening to him for anything beyond humor, is an indication of why you are stating something quite ridiculous. This is a huge event, and the police agencies aren't digging into the background for your entertainment...the info will get out in due time, this isn't like a pregnancy test result from a lab.

This could be the first time they were asked to claim responsibility by their Russian (Iranian?) sponsors.
