Well, the folks at Rapture Ready are back at it again! Every time a rocket is shot at Israel, the prophecy is about to be fulfilled. This is the one; they're sure of it. The last 10 times were close. But this one is it. . . . Until it isn't.

Am I the only one who wants to join RR just so I could tell them what fucking idiots they are: Hey, morons, it's been 2,000 years!! He ain't comin' back!! Time to get the fuck over it and move on with your life.

Just for once I'd like to say that out loud to some dickhead preacher.

Like any good scam they got that covered. II Peter 3 talks of the "scoffers" who mock those who continue to believe Jesus is coming back. Perhaps the very fact that you scoff is proof that this time he really is coming, since that's exactly what Peter prophesied.

But there's a delicious twist of irony. In Matthew 24:44 it says, "In such an hour as you think not the son of man cometh." This has to suck for the Rapture Ready crowd. The more they think "this is the big one" the more likely they're wrong.

In the 90s tere was a Mexican who claimed to be tehnd coming and had a following.

If he comes back, he better damn well be masked. As far as I know, there's no Pfizer in heaven. And this is a guy who's fond of spitting on you to cure you. No thanks. Wrap that shit up!!

The only life to survive nuclear holocaust will be cockroaches and the Rapture forums.

In the 80s when I was in Portland in south Oregon a minster convinced people the rapture wooed occur on a certain date. For some reason they sold tier possessions as if it mattered and were sitting in a field waiting for it to happen.
