Monday Liz Truss succeeded Boris Johnson as Tory Prime Minister. Apparently with plans for tax cuts, deregulation, and privitization. Reminds me of Brownback's Kansas. But we will see how this all works out.

Nah, Thatcher was cruel and driven by a broken ideology, but capable of rational thought, and to some extent tempered by the threat of a plausibly electable opposition.
Truss isn't even rational enough to be consistent in her cruelty. She's Boris 2.0, without the meagre entertainment value of slapstick humour.

Its a worry that there are 2 Liz's running the UK and the 96 year old is the best one.

Truss is now promising to cap UK energy costs to £2500 per houehold per year. Command economies usually end up as a disaster. A great start for the Tory's new leader.
It's so odd how UK Conservatives don't govern like conservatives.

Not really; In the UK, Europe, and Australia, 'Conservatives' are centre-right parties, somewhat to the left politically of where your Democratic party stands.
You think it's odd only because you live in an environment where 'Conservative' means far-right, in contrast to the centre-right position that you call 'liberal'.
Your local idiosyncrasies are misleading you, because you are so unaware of the wider reality that the other 95% of humanity inhabits.

Would you take health advice from someone who looked like that?
Would someone's looks prevent you from taking good advice? I mean having the knowledge about something does not reduce the knowledge because of some physical condition (of course this doesn't apply if the condition has negative mental effects). By your apparent standard no one should have listened to Stephen Hawking looking and sounding like a slowly melting robot. Einstein too, lookin like a bobbling garden gnome.
I never herd of this lady, but there has to be more to her being a bad choice than just looking like she not making the correct health decisions in a picture.

She's been sworn in for two days, and already the Queen is dead. Doesn't speak well to her competence as PM. Even the worst of them have managed to keep the bloody Queen alive, FFS.
