The data on global warming just keeps mounting and it doesn't look good considering the alignment of governments and politicians. If you want to call Mann a prophet, he was one of the earlier ones. Steyn's attacks on him have actually morphed into an anachronism. Global warming is a crisis requiring recognition and action and we still are subjected to childish ad homs and other insults to our intelligence.

Yawn. Mann was not 'a prophet'. His bag is trying to determine temperatures BEFORE instrumentation, through the use of proxy's (eg tree rings). Problem is, he is really bad at it.

As per NASA, 97% of scientists believe in global warming. It would seem that he's not that bad at it.

Although I did not bother to respond to that tidbit of irrelevant misinformation, you're starting to sound daffy. The events alluded to are from Bush's tenure, 30 years after Nixon.
