Oh, Rubio. No no no.

This is what my father used to call the "Against sin and for motherhood" stump speech.

That's not a doctrine, it is three meaningless phrases with no detail or context.

The "New American Century."

Where have I heard that before?

If I remember correctly, there was a "project" for a "New American Century" that was (back in the 1990s) really, really angry that the United States was not sufficiently toppling the regime of Saddam Hussein. This "project" held that if we could just regime change Saddam's Iraq, the rest of the region would be all like "OMFG, teh democracy is awesome!" and dictatorships would fall like - and this word seems strangely familiar - dominoes...leading to a flowering of peaceful and secular regimes in a region desperate for freedom.

Within a few months of such regime change, the Project for this "New American Century" figured, there would be a sea change in the Middle East.

It certainly wouldn't lead to a decade or more of instability and civil war.

Anyone else find it hilarious that the link to Rubio's "Doctrine" is phonetically,

'K, Fuck You!

LOL Way to go Rubio!

I saw this clown on Charley Rose. He is just another socially penurious warmonger corporate whore...about as mediocre and trite as a politician could be....excepting of course...Dubbiya. He is a loud voice against international diplomacy and cooperation and also old folks, poor folks, black folks, you name it, he is against everything but missionary position and profit.
