Michael K Williams, who played Omar Little in The Wire, dies in New York aged 54

Michael K Williams, who starred in the TV series The Wire, has been found dead in his New York apartment, according to police. He was 54. NYPD spokesman Lieutenant John Grimpel said Williams was found dead in his Brooklyn home after a 2:00pm phone call to emergency operators on Monday.

Unfortunate. It's depressing William's inner demons finally caught up with him.
