A gunman who prompted a lockdown at Arkansas State University is in custody, police confirmed shortly before 3 p.m. Thursday.
No one was injured.
Jonesboro Police Department spokesman Paul Holmes said police were searching the gunman's truck, which he said appeared to have propane tanks at its rear.
"Our guys are going to make sure the truck is safe before it's moved," Holmes said.
It wasn't immediately known if the lockdown had been lifted.
