That is what I suspect is happening. The Trumpettes will fall into line on anything Trump says, no matter how illogical and no matter how much it goes against their claimed beliefs. This is what is so scary about him.

But I do think stupid memes like that are also part of the reason for the suddenly growing love Republicans have for Putin.

I would find it hard to argue that Putin is dumb. He is extremely clinical and shrewd. It probably just frosts his chaps that he runs a country like Russia, the mother of all inferiority complex nations, and not a country that actually accomplishes much of anything.

Putin is a capitalist and a firm believer that the world needs to continue to be powered by fossil fuels. As a result a major part of his reasoning capacity has been fossilized. His actions on the world stage are all very understandable if you understand how completely his ecological understanding of the Earth is completely compromised by his belief that his future is inextricably tied to Russia's fossil fuel industry. The battles in the ME are all related to the politics and economies of countries totally dependent on marketing fossil fuels. These are dying economies in the light of the changes the world will have to undergo getting off the oil and natural gas and other subterranean energy sources. Politicians like Putin and Trump and Clinton represent the fossilized political remains of an environmental policy that is doomed to failure. This type of economy is based on something for nothing...and it ends up being worse than nothing. It is totally regressive from a social standpoint and is as hopelessly outdated as the institutions of monarchy and theocracy. We have a system today that penalizes those with the temerity to acknowledge the climate is changing and we need to change. Trump and Putin are clearly the route to more of the same...more war, more pollution, more wealth disparity...but it wouldn't be much different with Clinton in the seat of the Comedian in Chief.

No. Brute versus brains
Both of these men are brutes. Obama is the only one of the two who has the confidence to act like a mafia Don...and keep an assassination list going...and then send the drones out to do their evil work. Obama is a dangerous Alpha male that has SOME OF US FOOLED. There is at least one good thing happening this holiday season...Obama is leaving offic....(two good things)...Hillary is not assuming office of POTUS...and well yes...there are also a number of very bad things happening:
