"Behold the atheist's nightmare" (the banana)

Ray Comfort became famous amongst atheists and was mocked a lot about the banana speech he'd used for 10+ years. But in his new video "The Fool" he says it made him humble (something like that) and it allowed him to interview/debate lots of atheists and they often included his gospel message in their videos.

A lot of the video is about Penn Jillette and apparently he was around in the Laurence Krauss interview from the Atheist Delusion. Oddly footage of Penn was blurred out and his speech was muted with subtitles instead.

I'd recommend buying the MP4 files for $20 but maybe it will be released for free on Youtube after a while like some of his other videos are.

BTW recently as part of my research on the topic of science and the Bible I bought a cheap copy of his book "Scientific Facts and the Bible".

Here is a PDF (the page numbering is a bit different)
http://www.loganchristianfellowship...y_comfort_-_scientific_facts_in_the_bible.pdf
on page 26 it says:
Law of Probabilities Confirms Genesis
“The chance that higher life forms might have emerged in this way [through evolution] is comparable to the chance that a tornado sweeping through a junkyard might assemble a Boeing 747 from the materials therein.” ... Sir Fred Hoyle

There is a guy in "The Atheist Delusion" that says "believing in God makes no sense" then at 6m30s says:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=6m30s&v=ChWiZ3iXWwM
a book forming without a bookmaker is "like an explosion making a 747 airplane"

In both cases - a quote in Ray Comfort's 2001 book and a supposedly atheistic person Ray Comfort is interviewing mention the 747 airplane. I wonder how that could have happened.

The Fool video also talks about his "Evidence Bible"
I found a hostile Christian site about it:
https://www.jesus-is-savior.com/Bible/the_evidence_bible.htm

He also made Origin of Species 150th Anniversary Edition since it was a public domain book. Ray Comfort wrote a (50 page?) introduction and handed it out at a university
https://www.koorong.com/search/prod...rsary-edition-ray-comfort/9780882709192.jhtml
He did it a day earlier than what he said he would and avoided the organised atheist response.

He also mentioned his pro-life video "180"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7y2KsU_dhwI
"you will see eight people change their minds on abortion in a matter of seconds…because they were asked one question."

Ray Comfort became famous amongst atheists
Eh. Not all atheists pay that much attention to creationists. And his banana argument was mocked by a number of people who aren't atheists, just not illiterate in the subject of evolutionary theory.
and they often included his gospel message in their videos.
No, they very seldom included his gospel message. Unless by 'gospel message' he means 'Goddidit?' They included that, but they then made mock of his supporting argument, which was shit logic.

So, trying hard to spin the Banana-Man fiasco into something not-stupid, but not really succeeding. He still sees the fight as god vs. atheists, not god-story vs. science, and he sees himself as the nemesis of atheism.
Didn't teach him all that much humility...

If Ray Comfort thinks the "banana man" argument "made him humble," that means he thinks that he's not arrogant anymore.

Obviously, he doesn't watch any of his own videos nor read any of his own writing.
