I ran into a situation in which I could not play games because a recent Windows 10 update turned the entire My Documents folder into read-only, and I could not change the settings on it nor any subfolder from read-only. Needless to say, I am annoyed.

First I tried changing permissions, but kept getting an "enumeration" error. Trying this fix next:

Will let you know in a minute if this does the trick. Apparently, a lot of people are angry about this one.

Update: at least now I don't get an enumeration error when I try to change the folders from read-only, but it still won't change. Fuck you, Microsoft.

Update: I'm an idiot. It wasn't a Read-Only issue at all.

I had to launch Steam, and Verify local files for the game in question. I'm a moron.
